Free Run Omega-3 + Lutein eggs are laid by indoor roaming hens fed a special diet enriched with lutein-rich marigold extract and Omega-3 polyunsaturates. Lutein rich marigold extract gives these eggs a naturally golden yolk.

Hens live in open concept, weather sheltered barns. There, they can freely forage, scratch, peck, perch and lay their eggs in nest boxes.

Omega-3s have been shown to contribute to slowing down the build up of plaque in the arteries by reducing triglyercides (at type of fat) in the blood. This can help to slightly lower blood pressure. It may also help to reduce the risk of arrhythmias or irregular hear beat.1

Essential fatty acids, like Omega-3 polyunsaturates must come for your diet – they cannot be produced by the body. Flax seed is high in omega-3 and is added to the feed of the free run hens that produce omega-3 eggs.2
